Biography
Dr Lizemarie Wium is a specialist physician with an interest in obstetric medicine. She completed her MB ChB at the University of the Free State, and in 2016 acquired MMed(Internal Medicine) and FCP(SA) from the University of Pretoria. Lizemarie trained in obstetric medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2018.
Lizemarie practiced as a general physician and obstetric physician at the University of Pretoria from 2017 until 2022 when she became lead obstetric physician at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, working at our King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital sites. Lizemarie has a special interest in the care of high-risk obstetric patients, critical care obstetrics and renal disease in pregnancy.
