King’s paediatrician appointed to new role at RCPCH
05 October 2020 - Dr Mo Akindolie takes up Associate Registrar role
Dr Mo Akindolie, Consultant in Ambulatory Paediatrics at King’s College Hospital, has been appointed to the role of Associate Registrar at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
In this new role, Dr Akindolie will be on the Senior Leadership Team working alongside the Registrar, and the President and the Vice Presidents to further the mission of the College. Her role will entail overseeing areas of the RCPCH’s governance and ethical framework and overseeing the RCPCH’s relations with external bodies including the General Medical Council and NHS England. This will sit alongside Mo’s exciting clinical commitments at King’s.
Speaking about her appointment, Mo said, “I am honoured and absolutely delighted to join the incredible leadership team at the RCPCH particularly at this crucial time for the health of children and young people across the four nations and globally. There are challenging times ahead of us but also significant opportunities to shape the future for child health.”
