Biography
Mr Narvekar is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He is an accredited specialist in Reproductive Medicine and minimal access laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery including endometriosis surgery. He has undergone highly specialised training at University College Hospital, London.
He is an expert in the medical and surgical treatment of fertility problems. This includes assisted conception techniques such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and advanced minimal access ‘keyhole’ surgery to treat conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and uterine anomalies.
He is widely published in the field of reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery and is actively involved in the training, examination, and supervision of students and specialists.
Mr Narvekar qualified as a doctor in 1990 and trained as an obstetrician and gynaecologist in India. He was admitted as a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1999, and moved to the United Kingdom. He has worked as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in various hospitals across the UK before he joined King’s in 2008.
He undertook a 2-year research fellowship at the University of Edinburgh and was awarded a Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine in 2008.
