Biography
Isabel is a Consultant Neuropsychologist who has worked in acute hospital Neuropsychology Departments since 2003 (National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, John Radcliffe, St George’s and Evelina / St Thomas’).
She has over twenty years’ experience in the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of children and adults with neurological illnesses. She has worked with individuals in multiple settings (inpatient, outpatient, and research) with varied conditions including acute and chronic injury and provided long term follow-up.
She believes neuropsychological assessment and interventions should be individually tailored to the needs of the child and help the child, family, medical team and educators best support the young person with any enduring neuropsychological or psychological difficulties.
Isabel has had a significant role in training the next generation of clinical neuropsychologists. She has been the supervisor for numerous QiCN candidates and since 2016 has run the first QiCN/CiCN group supervision sessions for people undertaking the paediatric qualification and has supervised over 30 people via this route.
She is also the lead neuropsychologist for the National XP Service at St Thomas’.
