Season ticket loan scheme

A season ticket for public transport could save you a considerable amount of money compared with buying daily tickets if you make the same journey more than two or three times a week.

Our season ticket loan scheme, which is run by the Trust, enables you to buy an annual (12-month) travel pass up front. To apply for a season ticket loan you must have been a permanent member of staff at King’s, on the Trust payroll, for at least three months.

Please note: we charge interest on these loans, currently an APR of about 4%. If you have enough funds in your bank account to pay for your season ticket, you will almost certainly be better off if you buy it yourself. This scheme is designed to help those members of staff who have insufficient funds in their bank account.
