06 December 2022 - A number of vacancies are available to join our Council of Governors
You are passionate about the NHS and your local healthcare services. You want to be an advocate for your local community, or perhaps you already are, but you are looking for a more formal role. If this describes you, applying to become a King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust governor may be your next move.
The Council of Governors at King’s is at the heart of shaping future developments at the Trust. This includes work to deliver the BOLD vision set out in the King’s strategy. As a vital part of ensuring we are accountable to our people and communities, this is a great opportunity to be involved in what we do.
Governors are members of the Trust that sit on a formal council. They give a voice to patients, local people, staff and partner organisations, ensuring the Trust is accountable to the local community.
The vacancies being filled at this time include patient and public constituencies across Southwark, Lambeth and Bromley. We also have new vacancies to represent south east London and London as a whole.
Nominations close on 8 December 2022 at 5pm.

To be eligible for a position you must be:
- aged 16 years old or over
- registered as a member of the Trust by 5pm on 8 December 2022 – you can join for free by emailing [email protected]
- live in one of the constituencies available – Southwark, Lambeth, Bromley, south east London and London wide
