As many COVID-19 restrictions have eased, we are reminding patients and visitors about the steps we need everyone to continue taking to keep our hospitals safe.

Please remember to:
– Wear a surgical mask. These will be provided at all our hospital entrances.

– Maintain good hand hygiene. Hand gel will be provided at the hospital entrances, and when going into clinical areas.

– Inpatients coming in for planned treatment will be requested to take lateral flow or PCR tests before they are admitted. Your clinical team will contact you to provide further information.

– You will notice our “stay safe and keep apart” signs to remind you to keep a safe distance from other patients and staff, where possible. You will also find signs to indicate where to wait and queue safely.

– We also have special measures in place for visitors. These are designed to keep you and our patients safe. Please do not visit our hospitals if you are unwell, or have symptoms of COVID-19.

You may also be asked to:
– Show an appointment letter or text before being allowed to enter our buildings

– Follow the one-way system at entry and exit points

– Wait in an orderly queue during peak times. While we will minimise this as much as possible, please be patient and try to allow extra time to get to your appointment.

We are operating more face-to-face outpatient clinics where necessary and practicable. Virtual (online) or telephone consultations will continue to take place to reduce visits to our hospitals. If you have an appointment coming up, you will be contacted with information on whether it is taking place at the hospital or virtually.
