NHS Oversight Framework

In April 2024, NHS England confirmed that King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has been placed into NHS Oversight Framework segment 4, which means the Trust receives support from the National Recovery Support Programme (RSP).

The NHS Oversight Framework is designed to support those organisations, like King’s, that are facing significant challenges. The Recovery Support Programme is a nationally-led programme of mandated, focussed and integrated support for organisations and systems in segment 4, working in a co-ordinated way with system partners, and regional and national NHS England teams.

The Trust welcomes this support, and regular updates will be provided to the Trust Board about the progress we are making as an organisation, whilst also ensuring we continue to provide high quality care for patients.
