LIVFIT

LIVFIT is the UK’s first patient support group for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD, also known as NAFLD). It was pioneered by Dr Saima Ajaz at King’s College Hospital in 2019.

The group was based on patient’s feedback through a survey which showed that they needed more support for lifestyle management for liver diseases. The aim of the group is to support people to adopt healthy habits to improve cardio-metabolic health and benefit from peer support.

We offer a platform for shared experiences, learning and active participation in advancing MASLD care. Our focus is on nutrition, exercise, medical insights and emotional support.

In-person meetings are organised for patients every 2 to 3 months. Experts are invited in the field of nutrition, exercise, medicine, sleep, research, motivational and emotional support etc.
