COVID-19 documentary filmed at King’s to broadcast this week

Earlier this year, we granted a small film crew access to our critical care unit and other areas at King’s.

The crew followed four patients who had been admitted to our critical care unit in the early stages of the pandemic and remained there for many months. Staff members were interviewed about the effect of the virus and the impact of spending prolonged periods of time in critical care.

The result is an intimate, feature-length documentary that demonstrates the compassionate care provided by our staff and a reminder of how frightening and destructive the COVID-19 virus can be for patients and their families.
