Meet our apprentices – Becky
09 February 2023 - Becky is a second year Training Nursing Associate at the PRUH
This National Apprenticeship Week we meet some of the apprentices at the Trust, who share with us why they think apprenticeships are beneficial.
Today, we hear from Becky Wray, a second year Training Nursing Associate at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
“I am thoroughly enjoying my course, it has been amazing!
“I feel apprenticeships are a great way to learn and develop your skills as you are working whilst learning. You are getting stuck in and getting your hands dirty (metaphorically of course!).
“As an apprentice Training Nursing Associate (TNA), you get to experience different areas of nursing and this really opens your eyes to the variety there is within the profession.
“There is so much support for your learning from your ward colleagues and managers, university and the TNA team at King’s.
“I would definitely recommend the course as it has been a brilliant way to progress my career in nursing.”
