Royal College of Nursing strikes – update

25 November 2022 -  Information for our patients - King’s RCN members will not strike on 15 and 20 December

Following the announcement of strike action by Royal College of Nursing (RCN) members last week (25 November 2022), the RCN has now published a list of those Trusts taking part in strike action on 15 and 20 December. King’s has not been named as a participating Trust.

This means that RCN members at King’s will continue to work as normal on 15 and 20 December. Patient care will continue as normal, and all patients with appointments, operations or scans should attend hospital as normal on these days.

The RCN may announce additional strike dates at any time, and if they do, it is possible that King’s will be one of the Trusts where strike action does take place. However, for the time being, no further dates beyond those already announced have been confirmed.
