Planned Synnovis strikes stood down

Trade union Unite has announced that its members at our pathology supplier Synnovis will no longer strike this week.

Unfortunately, to prepare for the strikes, originally planned to run from 16 to 20 December, we had to postpone a large number of non-urgent appointments and scheduled procedures. This is because Synnovis processes tests, such as blood tests, which are important for many treatments and procedures.

If your appointment this week has been cancelled as a result of the planned strikes, we will contact you as soon as possible with a new date.

If you have not been contacted, please attend hospital for your operation or appointment as planned.
