12 September 2022 - The vast majority of non-urgent appointments and operations on Monday will be re-scheduled for a later date

It has been confirmed that Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral will be held on Monday, 19 September. This will also be a public bank holiday.

We plan to re-schedule the vast majority of non-urgent appointments and operations planned across our hospitals for Monday 19 September.

Our teams will contact patients directly if your appointment or operation on Monday is still going ahead. For all other patients, we will ensure you receive a new date as soon as possible.

If you are scheduled to attend any of our hospitals on Monday and you have not heard from us by letter, text or phone-call, please do not attend your appointment but instead call the telephone number on your appointment letter.

All urgent, emergency and time-critical services for patients will continue as normal on Monday, and our teams are still here for those people who need us. We are also grateful to staff who will be working over the bank holiday.
