Biography
Dr Hadden is a Consultant Neurologist with a specialist interest in peripheral neuropathy. He qualified from Oxford University in 1992, gained a PhD on Guillain-Barré Syndrome in 2000 from King’s College London, and trained as a Neurology Specialist Registrar on the West London rotation. He was appointed Consultant Neurologist in 2005 at King’s College Hospital and at Maidstone Hospital in Kent. He runs the regional specialist peripheral nerve service at King’s.
He has served on international task forces, writing guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating neuropathies, Guillain-Barré Syndrome and vasculitic neuropathy.
He is President of the British Peripheral Nerve Society, Honorary Secretary of the international Inflammatory Neuropathy Consortium, and is on the Medical Advisory Board of the charity Guillain-Barré and Associated Inflammatory Neuropathies (GAIN). He runs the annual King’s Neuromuscular Disease Symposium and chairs the Nerve and Muscle group of King’s Health Partners Neuroscience.
