Biography
Mr Kawa Omar is a consultant urological surgeon at King’s College Hospital. His clinical practice includes all aspects of general urology, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, urinary stone disease and benign prostate enlargement.
He completed his specialist urology training in London on South London rotation in specialist centres such as Guy’s and King’s College hospitals in open, robotic assisted and laparoscopic surgery in addition to other hospitals across Southeast England.
He has published on urological cancers in peer reviewed journals and presented on urological cancers at national and international conferences. He undertook a master’s degree on infertility and effects of cancer treatment on recovery of fertility at the University of Nottingham.
He is keen on quality improvement projects and has carried out a multitude of projects to improve various aspects of quality of care.
