Biography
Ms Parry is a Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Consultant at King’s College Hospital.
She trained at Guy’s Hospital and qualified in 1992 with additional qualifications specific to movement disorders and Parkinson’s Disease (PD).
Ms Parry is a member of the Movement Disorders research team at King’s College Hospital and her main interests are the non-motor symptoms of PD.
She represents the PD nurses at the Non-Motor Parkinson’s Disease Study Group (NM-PD-SG) at the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society (IPMDS).
Ms Parry participates in teaching programmes both nationally and internationally including King’s master classes, Parkinson UK and MDS courses.
In 2020, she launched the King’s PD nurse specialist online educational and support platform which currently holds monthly sessions.
Ms Parry is a member of CRISP – the Community for Research Involvement and Support for People with Parkinson’s (PwP).
