Medical Engineering and Physics training

King’s Medical Engineering and Physics (MEP) department provides scientific and bioengineering services to the Trust and other hospitals in the region and further afield.

We are also an Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine-accredited National Training Centre offering an award-winning MSc in Medical Engineering and Physics.

Training

The department offers a range of other training including radiation protection courses for dental x-ray operators, laboratory workers, x-ray referrers and radiation protection supervisors and courses covering the use of medical equipment, such as infusion and syringe drivers.
