Harkness Fellowships

The Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice provide a unique opportunity for mid-career health services researchers and practitioners to spend up to 12 months in the United States conducting original research and working with leading US health policy experts.

Fellows carry out a research study that addresses a critical issue on the health policy agenda in both the US and their home country.

  • Individually tailored and flexible programme to accommodate professional commitments and personal circumstances.
  • Funding of up to $107,000 for terms of nine to 12 months.
  • Minimum stay of seven months in the US.
