Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Our Employee Assistance Programme offers all our staff a free, confidential and independent counselling telephone helpline. This is provided by Workplace Options and enables you to talk to a trained counsellor 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by phone or web.
The helpline aims to help you balance your work, family and personal life and deal with difficult issues. These can include things such as excessive pressure or stress, bereavement, anxiety and depression, substance abuse, conflict with colleagues, and financial and legal issues.
You can talk to a counsellor who will listen carefully to you, help you to identify your options and support you in finding a way forward. They will be happy to refer you if they feel you would benefit from face-to-face counselling at the Trust.
